Truly a renaissance woman, Michele has many varied interests. Among those interests is travel. She was bitten by the bug a few years ago and believes that the best way to increase understanding and compassion among different people is to be able to meet them in person.
Her best souvenirs are the photographs she takes and the continued interaction with new friends from all over the world. She seeks out opportunities to volunteer and to travel in an environmentally conscious way whenever possible.
When she travels, she also enjoys reading – especially books set in the locale she is visiting – and knitting. It’s fun for her to look back at a finished project and remember where she was when her needles crafted it.
